Michael
H. Berman was admitted to the Missouri Bar
in 1970, the Iowa Bar in 1971, and the Kansas Bar in 1983. He is also admitted
to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri,
The U.S. Court of Appeals, 8th Circuit, The U.S. District Court for the District
of Kansas, The U.S. Court of Appeals, 10th Circuit, and The United States Supreme
Court. Mr. Berman graduated from the Drake University Law School in 1970. He
is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan, Johnson County, Kansas, Iowa State,
Missouri and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Commercial
Law League of America, and has served as the Chairman of its 1,200 member Midwest
Region. Mr. Berman is among a select few lawyers in the United States who are
listed in The Best Lawyers in America by Steven Naifeh and Gregory
White Smith. He has twenty-five years of extensive experience in the areas of
creditor's rights including collections and bankruptcy, and including more than
15 years as a Trustee in Bankruptcy.
Daniel S. Rabin joined the firm in 1990 after three years of practice
with another area collection law firm. Mr. Rabin graduated from the University
of Kansas in 1984 and the Oklahoma City University Law School in 1987. He became
a member of the Kansas Bar in the same year. He is a member of the Kansas City
Metropolitan, Johnson County, Kansas, Missouri and American Bar Associations.
He is licensed to practice in Federal Court in both Kansas and Missouri. He
is also a member of the Commercial Law League of America. Mr. Rabin also devotes
the majority of his practice to the enforcement of creditor's rights.
Paulette F. Hutnick was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 1994 and the Missouri
Bar in 1993. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hutnick was an Associate with a
private law firm specializing in creditor's rights. She graduated from Wharton
School in 1977 and received her law degree from the University of Missouri -
Kansas City School of Law in 1993. She is licensed to practice in Federal Court
in both Missouri and Kansas. She is a member of the Kansas and Missouri Bar
Associations. Ms. Hutnick devotes the majority of her time to the practice of
creditor's rights and commercial litigation.
J. Brock Rowatt was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 1994 and to the Missouri
Bar in 1995. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District
Court for the Western District of Missouri and the United States District Court
for the District of Kansas. Mr. Rowatt joined the firm in 2003 after five years
of practice with another area collection law firm and after three years of practice
with another area general practice law firm. Mr. Rowatt graduated from William
Jewell College in 1991 and the University of Missouri at Kansas City Law School
in 1994. While in law school, Mr. Rowatt served on the UMKC Law Review. He is
a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan and Johnson County Bar Associations.
Mr. Rowatt devotes the majority of his time to the practice of creditor's rights
and commercial litigation.
